Ermine Ameraucana is a project variety that produce black and white, solid black, and solid white birds. The Ermine patterned birds are the result of single copy dominant white and modifiers that influence the amount of black that “leaks” through. 

Our line originated from Lance Harmon in Minnesota. Lance started his line by sourcing the Erminette breed from Sandhill Preservation Center and breeding them to Black Ameraucana. We’ve spent 4 years refining the work Lance started. Our line is not related to Becky Pelton’s line.
