Chocolate Egger pullets are your best bet at adding a deep shade of brown to your egg basket.

The eggs pictured are laid by the hens I'm hatching from. They are a deep brown with a heavy bloom. I expect their daughters to lay an equivalent or darker shade, and hopefully the blooms will be inherited too.
