Erminette (Ermine) Ameraucana | Hatching Eggs | HALF DOZEN

Erminette (Ermine) Ameraucana are a project variety that produce black and white, solid black, and solid white birds. The Erminette patterned birds are the result of single copy dominant white and modifiers that influence the amount of black that “leaks” through. 

My line originated from Lance Harmon in Minnesota. Lance started his line by sourcing the Erminette breed from Sandhill Preservation Center and breeding them to Black Ameraucana. 

In 2022 I hatched 100+ chicks from my Erminette Ameraucana rooster over a trio of unrelated Black Ameraucana hens. I selected one Erminette rooster and 4 Erminette hens to breed forward.
